Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-05-09 · NDPR-aware.
This notice explains what data we collect when you use siloamherbal.com or interact with us on WhatsApp, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Phone number — required to send you OTP sign-in codes and to deliver order updates over WhatsApp.
- Name and LGA — to personalise messages and route you to a pharmacy near you.
- Order history — pack count, total, pharmacy, status, timestamps.
- WhatsApp message log — the literal text of messages you send and receive, used to answer questions and audit support quality.
- Verification scans — the codes you enter at /verify, with a timestamp and a coarse IP region (no city-level GPS).
What we do not collect
- Health information beyond what you choose to share in a message.
- Card / bank details — payments are handled by Paystack, never stored by us.
- Your contacts list, location history, or any third-party browsing.
How long we keep it
Phone, name, and order history: as long as you have an active account, plus 7 years for tax and audit obligations. WhatsApp message logs: 24 months, then redacted to a per-month aggregate. OTP codes: 10 minutes from issuance, then deleted.
Who has access
- Davdeb Nigeria Enterprises operations staff (limited to your name and pharmacy).
- TechJamLabs platform admins (full record, every read and write is audit-logged).
- Your assigned Siloam Root, if any (limited to name and order summary).
- Paystack and 41Plus.africa (payment and WhatsApp processors, governed by their own privacy notices).
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you can request a copy of your data, correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. WhatsApp #DELETEME to your contact number, or email hello@siloamherbal.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for sign-in sessions and CSRF protection. We do not use advertising, profiling, or third-party trackers. The Roots Portal caches your dashboard offline using a service worker so it works on patchy networks; that cache is local to your device and never sent back to us.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes. Substantive changes will be announced on WhatsApp to active users.
